ABOUT OUR MEDIATORS
 

David C. Barry is a nationally recognized mediator; an experienced lawyer (with a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown); a licensed social worker (with a Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University), and educator (he teaches law and ethics at Rutgers University and to therapists throughout the region). He draws upon this varied professional background is helping couples and individuals successfully meet the challenges of divorce and other relationship challenges. 

Laura Bowne Barry is also an experienced mediator and attorney (with a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University).  Ms. Barry’s legal expertise in real estate, transactional and related matters adds greatly value to many of the subjects discussed in mediation and coaching sessions. 

Collectively, David and Laura have successfully mediated over a thousand disputes, most involving divorce or related family issues.  They have coached scores of individuals in successfully dealing with those same issues.  They are members of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators, the Association for Conflict Resolution, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and a variety of bar associations.
